On May 17, the World Health Organization declared the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. Western media is treating this as a health story. On Frontline Africa, we will not. This is the 17th Ebola outbreak in Congo since 1976. The epicenter is Mongbwalu, a gold mining town in Ituri province — one of the most heavily militarized, mineral-rich, donor-dependent regions on the entire African continent.

The Bundibugyo strain that is now spreading has no approved vaccine. The DRC’s surveillance network failed to detect it for 4 weeks. Four health workers died before the alarm was raised. Cases have now reached Kinshasa, Goma (under M23 control), and Kampala. In this episode, we walk through the verified facts, the geopolitical context the western press is leaving out, the structural reasons why eastern Congo keeps becoming ground zero for these outbreaks, the link to the Trump minerals deal of December 2025, the Rwanda border closure, Uganda’s response, and the rumours that ordinary Congolese have circulated about why this keeps happening to their country. We centre Africa in global affairs with analysis, not emotion.

The cleanup of the associative space in Burkina Faso marks the end of the era of “states within the state.” For decades, under the false guise of development aid or democracy promotion, a multitude of leaderless structures proliferated across the national territory. These organizations, often funded by foreign chancelleries with questionable agendas, operated in total violation of republican laws.

The assessment today is unequivocal: between chronic non-compliance marked by governing bodies never renewed and opaque financial reports and blatant political interference, these supposedly apolitical structures turned into destabilization cells as soon as the interests of their imperialist mentors were threatened.

Burkina Faso is no longer a playground; the law is now the same for everyone, and the time of impunity for those protected by the West is definitively over.

Any organization unable to respect its own bylaws loses all legitimacy to claim it is helping the Burkinabe people.

In the face of criticism from Parisian media outlets indignant about this return to order in the public sphere, it is appropriate to reverse the burden of proof regarding those censors who lecture on human rights from gilded lounges in Paris or Brussels.

These are the same powers that support puppet regimes and finance chaos to plunder the resources of the continent.

The colonial bias of the international order is here forcefully denounced: “facade democracy” is now seen only as a tool of enslavement, imported models having failed to protect citizens from terrorism.

In contrast, administrative sovereignty is asserted as an inalienable right; suspending an outlaw structure is an act of rigorous law, not an arbitrary exercise of force.

The time has come for unity behind the revolution to carry out this work of public salvation. Let the local lackeys of imperialism and their media relays understand that the Revolution will not retreat.

The cleanup of the associative space is a crucial step in liberating the creative genius of the Burkinabe people, freeing them from the poisoned infusions of foreign aid.

Trump scraps $5B in foreign aid in rare ‘pocket rescission’

WASHINGTON — President Trump is moving to cancel nearly $5 billion in congressionally approved foreign aid and peacekeeping spending in a rare “pocket rescission,” The Post has learned — deploying a legally debated maneuver that hasn’t been used in 48 years.

Trump on Thursday night notified Congress of his request to cancel the funds, which had been tied up in a court case until earlier in the day.

A pocket rescission is a request that’s presented to Congress so late in the fiscal year — which ends Sept. 30 — that it takes effect regardless of whether Congress approves.

The clawback includes $3.2 billion in United States Agency for International Development (USAID) development assistance, $322 million from the USAID-State Department Democracy Fund, $521 million in State Department contributions to international organizations, $393 million in State Department contributions to peacekeeping activities and $445 million in separately budgeted peacekeeping aid.

The spending had been destined for a wide variety of nonprofits and foreign governments and was paused earlier this year by the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and then stuck in legal limbo due to an ensuing lawsuit filed by the Global Health Council.

The DC Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday lifted an injunction in the case, opening the door for Trump to proceed with the first attempted pocket rescission since 1977.

The Trump administration has highlighted spending items that are allegedly wasteful, such as $24.6 million for “climate resilience” in Honduras, $2.7 million for the South African Democracy Works Foundation, which published inflammatory racial articles including “The Problem with White People,” and $3.9 million to promote democracy among LGBT people in the Western Balkans.

Other highlighted allocations include $1.5 million to market the paintings of Ukrainian women.

The roughly $838 million in peacekeeping funds being eliminated include payments to support United Nations peacekeeping forces in places such at the Democratic Republic of Congo, where the Trump administration recently brokered a peace deal with next-door Rwanda, and the Central African Republic, where the mission has been criticized as aligned with Russian business interests.

Allocated peacekeeping funds include $11 million to provide Uruguay’s military with armored personnel carriers, $4 million for a training center in Zambia and $3 million for barracks to house Kazakhstani peacekeepers.

The clawback would not affect US support for the Multinational Force and Observers peacekeeping mission along the Egyptian-Israeli border.

Keith Harmon Snow Was a Courageous Investigative Journalist Who Exposed Lies Regarding the Rwandan Genocide

Snow followed in the footsteps of CovertAction Information Bulletin founder Philip Agee in his attempt to expose the close connections between the CIA and multi-national corporations and in his analysis of the political-economy of U.S. imperialism.

Keith Harmon Snow, after suffering from cancer, died in early December at the age of 64. He was a courageous investigative journalist who was ignored by the mainstream media because of his truthful reporting about Rwanda and U.S. foreign policy in Central Africa.

Snow exposed the false narrative underlying the 1994 Rwandan genocide in the West, presenting the Tutsi as the victims of a genocidal Hutu extermination plan, and the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) under the leadership of Paul Kagame as Rwanda’s savior.

Snow’s writings showed, rather, that the RPF instigated a civil war in Rwanda after illegally invading the country from Uganda with U.S. and UK sponsorship, and that Kagame triggered the genocide by shooting down the airplane of Rwanda’s Hutu President Juvenal Habyarimana.

Furthermore, Kagame’s RPF forces carried out a huge proportion of the killings during the genocide—even setting up open-air crematoria to better dispose of the bodies—and perpetrated a genocide of Hutu refugees who were expelled from Rwanda during repeated invasions of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Rather than being a bystander to genocide as is commonly believed, Snow’s work detailed how the U.S. was deeply complicit in it. During the late 1980s, the CIA began supporting Tutsi exiles based in Uganda and greenlighted the RPF invasion of Rwanda from Uganda. Paul Kagame was trained in psychological warfare at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, where he learned the art of trickery and deceit.

Snow exposed how Kagame worked closely with Roger Winter, head of the U.S. Committee for Refugees (USCR) and a suspected CIA agent who was decorated by Kagame at the July 4, 2012, celebration of the 16th anniversary of the RPF’s victory.

In the early 1980s, Winter had supported the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Uganda led by Yoweri Museveni, Uganda’s current leader, Kagame and the Hema Tutsi aristocracy, who fought against Uganda’s then-President Milton Obote, a one-time socialist.

For the remainder of the decade, Winter worked to advance the militant plans of the Rwandan Tutsi aristocracy, which had been expelled from Rwanda when the Hutu took over in the 1960s and wanted to establish a greater Tutsi-Hema empire in the heart of Africa.[1]

Snow made clear that the motive behind Winter and the CIA’s operations in Central Africa was to establish a U.S.-UK proxy regime in Central Africa that could help Western multi-national corporations access the DRC’s rich mineral wealth.

Winter also provided covert support to John Garang, commander of the Sudanese People’s Liberation Army (SPLA), a U.S. proxy force known for its brutality that waged an insurgency against Sudan’s pro-China government and contributed to the division of oil-rich Sudan.[2]

Writing from the Heart

Born in Williamsburg, Massachusetts, Keith Harmon Snow first became knowledgeable about Central African politics after working as a genocide investigator for UNICEF in Rwanda.[3]

Starting his career as a scientist working on highly classified weapons systems for the Pentagon, Snow found a higher calling as a war correspondent, working in, among other places, Afghanistan, Congo, Ethiopia, Sudan and Mongolia.

An expert witness in U.S. immigration asylum hearings for Rwandans, Snow held audience with Muammar Gaddafi prior to the U.S. invasion of Libya, which he strongly opposed, and testified before the International Court of Justice in Spain, supporting the war-crimes indictments against current Rwandan government officials.

Blacklisted in the mainstream U.S. media and barred from three U.S. colleges (Smith, Mt. Holyoke and Hampshire) and two African countries (Ethiopia and Rwanda[4]), Snow received four Project Censored Awards, was often consulted by Africans, and was invited to speak in Paris in 2023 and again in 2024 at the convention of the Rwandan government-in-exile.

Described by one of his Congolese friends as “adventurous” and “full of life,” Snow visited most countries in Africa and swam in all of Congo’s rivers. Arrested for civil disobedience at anti-globalization protests in the 1990s, he traveled widely in Southeast Asia, chronicling his journeys through both written and photo journalism.[5]

Living for the last several years in sparse conditions on Greens Island, Maine, Snow appeared in the acclaimed documentary Enjoy Poverty by Renzo Martens that exposed Unilever plantation slavery in the DRC.

Snow also wrote a book, The Worst Interests of the Child, exposing corruption in the Connecticut family court system, which Snow said had been transformed into a “private profit-based system of extortion and criminal racketeering” that “enriches lawyers, judges, doctors and psychologists.”[6]

Survived by a young son, Birch, who he doted upon, Keith’s primary source of work was ConsciousAlliance.com, which jolted minds across the world into perceiving Africa`s story of wars and poverty in a new light.

His journalism was of extremely high quality. Snow always provided detailed evidence to support his indictment of corrupt government institutions, and he was astute in recognizing the economic imperatives underlying most state crimes.

Snow’s writings also provided a strong African voice missing from mainstream U.S. media accounts, and expressed compassion for the victims of Western crimes and their African proxies.

According to P.D. Lawton, South African editor of African Agenda, Snow “wrote from the heart,” powered by what Lawton called “one of the most brilliant minds.”

Decrying the U.S. militarization of Africa, Snow’s writings not only documented the atrocities of Western-backed regimes in Rwanda and Uganda but also Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Ethiopia under Meles Zenawi, which committed a genocide against the Anuak people.[7]

At one point, Snow traveled with the SPLA in South Sudan and documented the horrible consequences of the Western-backed civil war and centrality of the drive for oil in fueling it.

Snow wrote that the U.S. strategy “to fracture and divide Sudan is similar to the strategy at work in the Congo, and it echoes the RPF’s strategy…used to achieve regime change in Rwanda, 1990 to 1994.”

Following in the Footsteps of Philip Agee

Snow castigated journalists reporting on Africa for The New York Times and The Atlantic, among other prestigious outlets, for adopting emotionally potent oversimplifications—as in the false dichotomy created between Hutu villains and Tutsi heroes in the Rwandan genocide.[8]

The same journalists helped manufacture consent by whitewashing U.S. crimes and by failing to disclose how multi-national corporations fueled African conflicts as they bought off politicians like George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Snow spotlighted the importance of Maurice Tempelsman in driving what he called the “holocaust in Central Africa” that claimed some six to ten million people.

A top Democratic Party donor whose intelligence ties were reflected in his serving as a chairman of the Africa-America Institute, a CIA front involved in propaganda and bringing African leaders to study in the U.S., Tempelsman was chairman of the board of directors of Lazare Kaplan International Inc. (LKI), the largest diamond company in the U.S., and partner in Leon Tempelsman & Son, which has lucrative mining interests throughout Africa.[9]

Tempelsman’s political influence was apparent in 1998 when he accompanied President Bill Clinton on a trip to Central Africa where Clinton expanded U.S. support for the Rwandan and Ugandan governments as they invaded the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in order to plunder its diamond and mineral wealth.

Back in the 1960s, Tempelsman had cultivated close ties with Congolese dictator Joseph Mobutu and worked with CIA agent Larry Devlin to plan the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, who had wanted to place Congo’s mineral wealth under national control. Tempelsman and Devlin further supported Mobutu’s efforts to suppress a rebellion led by Lumumba’s followers.[10]

In a March 2006 article, Snow criticized Human Rights Watch Report for neglecting to discuss how the Oppenheimer-owned Anglo American Corporation and the Canada-based Barrick Gold, for which former President George H.W. Bush was a paid adviser, helped fuel violence in the DRC.[11]

Snow pointed out that a director of Anglo American, Sir Mark Moody-Stuart, was a director of Royal Dutch Shell and a member of UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan’s advisory board, and that the Anglo-Ashanti Company sent its top lawyers into eastern DRC to aid rebel militia leaders being arrested there.

Snow also relayed that a number of mining company owners who profited from the exploitation of the DRC were donors to Bill Clinton, including Jean-Raymond Boulle, who received a billion-dollar deal for mines in the Congo at Kolwezi (cobalt) and Kipushi (zinc) from Laurent Kabila’s Alliance of Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Zaire (ADFL) before they were even officially in power.

Clinton’s administration, not coincidentally, helped bring Kabila to power by helping to finance the Rwandan-Ugandan invasions of Congo in the late 1990s.

When Kabila tried to reassert local control over the DRC’s mining industry, he was assassinated, and a Rwandan quisling, Hyppolite Kanambe (aka Joseph Kabila), was put in power.

The central resistance to foreign invasion in the DRC was the Mai-Mai militia, which was grouped with other militias by Western media, who in obscuring the real roots of the Congo war, reinforced racist stereotypes of Africans as savages.

Snow’s writings followed in the tradition of CovertAction Information Bulletin founder Philip Agee in his focus on political-economy and the intricate ties between big business, the CIA and White House in fomenting violent conflicts and economic plunder around the world.

Agee’s 1975 book Inside the Company emphasized how corporate plutocrats used the CIA to do the dirty work that would enable them to seize control over natural resources across the so-called Third World.

Snow’s writings on Sudan showed how the U.S. launched a three decades-long low-intensity warfare campaign beginning in the mid-1980s after the downfall of U.S. client Jaafar Nimeiri. The latter’s replacement, Omar al-Bashir, ended USAID operations in Sudan that had resulted in the cheap export of gum arabic, a resource, essential for soft drinks (Coke, Pepsi, Fanta) and beer, over which Sudan has a near monopoly.

Some of Snow’s articles on the DRC pointed to the profiteering of Israeli billionaires like Beny Steinmetz and Dan Gertler who employed private mercenaries and functioned as assets of the Mossad, which works hand in glove with the CIA, British MI6 and the criminal Kagame and Museveni regimes.[12]

Gertler headed an interlocking network of diamond companies, including Emaxon Finance International, which won the majority rights to the diamonds from the DRC’s state mining company, Société Minière de Bakwanga, MIBA.

Gertler’s access to the U.S. political elite came through Condoleezza Rice, who was friendly with a Brooklyn-born rabbi, Chaim Yaakov Leibovitch, to whom he was devoted.

Snow suggested that Gertler—who finances right-wing Israeli politicians—bribed Congolese and Angolan officials to protect his mining interests and was so close with Hyppolite Kanambe that he was one of only two white men invited to his wedding.

Emaxon Finance International, according to Snow, hid much of its ill-gotten gains in offshore “tax havens” that helped to “shield from prosecution people who are responsible for money laundering, weapons and drugs operations, assassinations and other terrorism.”

Among other things, Snow’s writings are significant in pointing to the corruption of the journalistic and academic establishments, which have often parroted the RPF line of events and helped suppress the truth about U.S. foreign policy in Africa.

Snow’s review of a book on the murder of former Rwanda intelligence chief Patrick Karegeya by Paul Kagame characteristically criticized a well-known New York Times writer, Howard W. French, for regurgitating what Snow called the false “Cattle-Herding-Tutsis-as-Victims-of-Hoe-Happy-Hutu-Killers narrative.”

The same review castigated Joshua Hammer for assaulting the truth in a hit piece in The New York Times Magazine directed against Rwandan dissident Paul Rusesabagina (aka Mr. Hotel Rwanda) who was kidnapped and imprisoned for criticizing Kagame.[13]

Calling Hammer “an unabashed apologist for mass murder [who] actively promulgated anti-Hutu …disinformation in support of the genocide against Hutu people,” Snow points out that Hammer failed to disclose to his readers a close relationship with the RPF whose propaganda he was helping to regurgitate.

Snow felt that Hammer was an operative for the CIA or Mossad—or both. Hammer’s New York Times Magazine article was so bad that Dr. Brian Endless, a professor at Loyola University Chicago who had worked with Rusesabagina, emailed the editor to tell him that he had been misquoted, stating “Joshua interviewed me and many other people affiliated with Paul Rusesabagina, plus a number of journalists and academic experts. He clearly ignored all of our input, and instead told the story that has been put out since shortly after the terrible 1994 genocide by the propaganda machine of Rwandan President Paul Kagame.”

Snow’s writings also took aim at Dr. Eric Reeves, a professor at Smith College and so-called anti-genocide activist who functioned as a propagandist for the SPLA and was an open proponent of low-intensity warfare and U.S. regime-change operations in Sudan.[14]

Additional writings of Snow took aim at Philip Gourevitch, Howard Buffett, Andrew Young, Ben Affleck, Paul Farmer, Samantha Power, George Clooney, Rick Warren, and many other Western writers and celebrities who advanced pro-RPF and U.S. State Department views on the Rwandan and other African conflicts.

Snow made a point of emphasizing how U.S. humanitarian aid programs were often integrated into larger foreign policy initiatives that had resulted in gross humanitarian crises.

Humanitarian aid could be used as a cover for weapons supplies and other political support and was usually channeled to groups supported by the U.S., UK and Israel, and withheld from victims of Western imperialism like the Hutu.

What Snow called the NGO industry was also destructive because it inhibited the growth of progressive social movements and grassroots initiatives and fostered dependency on Westerners.

Snow’s writings cast critical attention on celebrity spokesmen for UN agencies that insidiously worked to advance the Pentagon’s interests. This occurred while fueling what he called the “misery industry” by which Americans are compelled to give money to private charities as they remain oblivious about the special interests and political structures driving all the misery.

Some of these celebrities, like Ben Affleck, who became very close with Paul Kagame’s family and met in Central Africa with Laurent Nkunda, a Rwandan militia leader implicated in gross human rights crimes in the DRC, openly advanced propaganda for U.S. client states.

Others helped promote CIA cutout organizations like Save Darfur, which were designed to coopt efforts at grassroots oppositional/anti-imperialist movements in the West, while channeling student activist energy toward support for U.S.-aligned groups like the SPLA in Sudan.[15]

Snow outed Save Darfur founder John Prendergast (with Eric Reeves) as a U.S. intelligence operative who, working for intelligence front groups like ENOUGH, Genocide Intervention Network and Raise Hope for Congo, was active in promoting subversion across Africa in alignment with the interests of U.S. multi-national corporations.

Prendergast presents himself publicly as a hippie-type do-gooder who cares about the plight of African children when, in reality, he is a nefarious “deep-state” operative with much blood on his hands, who boasted of traveling across Central Africa with Paul Kagame.[16]

According to Snow, another perceived do-gooder with blood on her hands is Hollywood A-list actress Angelina Jolie, who starred as a “selfless” hero working as a UNHCR official in Hollywood’s Beyond Borders, which was in reality “a film that peddles the necessity of mixing Central Intelligence Agency gun-running operations with humanitarian missions—because it is ostensibly for the ‘right’ cause: Western-sponsored covert interventions.”[17]

Keith Harmon Snow was a hidden gem in the corrupt world of modern-day journalism, human rights NGOs and academia, who cared about humanity deeply and spoke truth to power.

Though Snow is no longer with us, his writings are accessible on the internet. They should be consulted by anyone who seeks a better understanding of the horrific consequences of U.S. foreign policy in Africa and wants to know more about the wealthy plutocrats who are behind it.

Prince William in Cape Town: opening a new front for AFRICOM in Central Africa?

Foreign interference in African affairs comes under the guise of many things from direct funding of regime change operations and colour revolutions [1]to financial leverage of power [2] to obstructing development by attacking the very means of industrialization , energy, as in the recent years South Africa has had to fight for its own industrial capacity [3], to the insidious corporate power creep [4]. The Anglo American oligarchy who want to keep Africa unindustrialized as a directive of Henry Kissinger’s NSSM 200 [5], use any means necessary by which to get African publics to support their call. Protecting one of the continent`s most treasured assets, its wildlife, comes within the perfidious reach.

The Prince of Wales and next in line to the British Crown, was recently in Cape Town where he continues in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, key figures of the global environmental and conservation movement. The Prince of Wales arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, in early November for the Earthshot Prize awards. Earthshot was started in 2020 by Prince William and David Attenborough who is an ardent proponent of global depopulation. Winners of the prize each receive £1million with categories being within the UN green Sustainable Development  goals which can be described as a malthusian policy for development.  for the global South.[6]

In a speech in Cape Town, he said:

” Since 1970 we have witnessed a staggering 73% decline in the average size of global wildlife populations. That figure alone highlights the fragility of our eco-systems and the urgency of our mission. The illegal wildlife trade is a key driver of this decline putting countless species at risk, is a far reaching problem that also undermines security and governance worldwide. Beyond its impact on nature, it fuels organized crime and is often entangled with other illicit activities like drug smuggling, arms trafficking and human exploitation. The growth of these criminal networks fosters environments where violence against law enforcement and conservationists becomes common place. And crucially this violence is not confined to any one region; the ripple effects are profound for us all.”

The Prince announced a new initiative with the collaboration of United for Wildlife, the Game Rangers Association of Africa and Tusk Trust, a life insurance policy for rangers.1400 rangers have been killed worldwide in the last 10 years. Not to belittle the death of any ranger but 140 deaths on an annual average, worldwide, is not significant and such a scheme is already in existence within sectors of the conservation movement. Apart from this being a royal public relations stunt is there more to highlighting wildlife conservation as a potential new conservation `militarized wing`?

Globally, there are currently 300 000 rangers. The Prince says that 5x that number are required, a small army.

Are conservation measures paid for by the likes of Wells Fargo, Citi Bank, Lloyds and any of the `Too Big to Fail` City of London and Wall Street banks intending to protect Africa`s endangered wildlife or is the clue in the name of a subsidiary minor partner ngo `Transfrontier Africa`, is their stated `global reach`, a case of over-reach?

Wildlife conservation already has supra-national powers.

The originator of the global conservation and environmentalist movement was the World Wildlife Fund.

As written in an excerpt from EIR publication `The WWF: race science and world government` by Allen Douglas, October 1994.

“The World Wildlife Fund (WWF, now the World Wide Fund for Nature), was founded in 1961 for one stated purpose: to raise money to drastically expand the operations of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Established in Gland, Switzerland in 1948 on a British Foreign Office-drafted constitution, the IUCN today boasts that it is the largest “professional” international conservation organization-as of 1994 comprising 68 states, 103 govern mental agencies, and over 640 non-governmental organizations, “many of global reach.”

Under the cover of “conserving nature,” the WWF-IUCN has in fact dedicated itself to l):reduce the world’s population, particularly in the developing sector, and 2) ensure that control of the world’s raw materials remains in the hands of a tiny handful of largely British, (or Anglo-Dutch) multinationals. These two goals, WWF-IUCN spokesmen have repeatedly stated, require a world government.”

Since those original exposes of the British led environmentalist movement by Lyndon LaRouche and EIR ( Executive Intelligence Review) , much has been written such as in this article from Covert Action:[7]

“Though the formation of Bilderberg is enough to warrant its own scrutiny, it was another secret society that had more obvious implications for the WWF. “The 1001: A Nature Trust,” which still exists today, served as the initial basis for the conservation organization’s financial backing.

It consisted of 1,000 members, plus the Prince ( Prince Philip), each contributing $10,000 to support the operations of the WWF. One might think that the group’s donors were simply attempting to address the ecological issues of the world; however, two details would seem to counter that naïve perspective.

First, the membership list of the 1001 Nature Trust was a secret, even to the leadership of the WWF, which suggests something beyond ordinary philanthropy. Secondly, when the members were disclosed in the 1980s, it revealed some of the most notable members of the deep state, overworld and underworld figures alike.

These ranged from David Rockefeller, Henry Ford, former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, Harry Oppenheimer of South African-British mining giant Anglo American Corporation; Muslim spiritual leader and billionaire Karim Aga Khan, Shell CEO and future WWF president John H. Loudon; and Philip Morris CEO Joseph Cullman III to dictator Mobutu Sese Seko, arms trafficker Adnan Khashoggi, Sheikh Salim bin Laden, the older brother of Osama bin Laden; Franco’s Minister of Information; embezzler and drug and arms trafficker Robert Vesco; Swiss embezzler for Meyer Lansky’s mob family ,Tibor Rosenbaum; and Agha Hasan Abedi, the founder of Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), a bank used by drug traffickers and the CIA alike to launder funds.”

Good Move

In March 2023 the Russian Federation took decisive steps against the World wildlife Fund and  placed it on the “foreign agent” list. According to this article:

“World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Russia has announced termination of its cooperation with WWF via its social media profiles.

The Russian organisation, which has been an independent entity since 2014, will forgo the WWF abbreviation and the panda logo. The decision was made after the Russian authorities designated the international organisation as “undesirable” in the country.

In a statement, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office claimed that WWF is conducting “activities aimed at obstructing the implementation of the [Russia’s] political course for the industrial development of the Arctic”.

According to the agency, the fund formed “a network of organizations to collect information on the environmental situation in Russian regions in the context of large industrial complexes and prepare ‘independent’ biased assessments aimed at shackling the economic development of Russia”.

The statement also claims that WWF has formed a rating of environmental responsibility for Russian companies in various areas in accordance with subjective standards and criteria.”

In 2015 Russia banned the National Endowment for Democracy, another subversive ngo.

Conserving Wildlife or Conserving Lawlessness?

The founders of the WWF were Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld , Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Julian Huxley, Max Nicholson, Peter Scott, Guy Mountfort, Godfrey A. Rockefeller. The late Duke of Edinburgh once famously said:

“In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation.”

Prince Bernhard was a member of the Nazi Reiter-SS and the Reich’s paramilitary Sturmabteilung.

Continuing in the family tradition, Prince Harry is a director of African Parks which runs 22 national parks and protected areas across 12 African countries including Angola, Chad, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Republic of Congo and Benin.

African Parks have identified what they call 161 “Anchor Areas” :

According to them:

“We noted that if the 161 identified “anchor areas”, which amount to 130 million hectares, are well managed, they will form a backbone for the continent’s conservation strategy, providing expandability into adjacent legislated areas and landscapes……

We aim to directly manage 30 protected areas by 2030, covering over 30 million hectares, focusing primarily on areas which form part of the 161 “anchor areas”.”

This map which shows their planned `Incubator Program` should alarm all the countries concerned if you consider the scale of the aerial , drone and satellite surveillance that is being used by  non-state actors in these 12 countries…to monitor poaching or whatever else the financers of African Parks are `incubating.`

Writing for EIR in 2008, Linda de Hoyos stated:[8]

“While taking land out of circulation for development, the reserves often squat on land that has potentially wealthy yields of strategic resources. For example, the border-area parks of Niger cover an undeveloped uranium field.

 Park administration by extra-national agencies such as the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is a direct assault on national sovereignty. Under the guise of fighting poachers, administration often involves paramilitary forces. “The function of the national park is to keep control of that land out of the hands of the local government,” one expert informed EIR. “The national park is governed by a board of trustees, at least they originally were. . .“

the article continues:

“The parks are safe havens and staging grounds for insurgencies of all stripes. As documented below, many reserves and parks straddle borders, with the parks functioning as “militarized zones. “Prince Philip’s WWF was administering the gorilla program in the Virunga Park, while the RPF was using the Virunga to maraud Rwanda.”

Strategic partners of African Parks include the WWF and USAID which states:

“The Agency has been implementing the Central Africa Regional Programme for the Environment (CARPE), an important effort to preserve the Congo Basin’s ecosystem, assisting governments and local communities to work together to sustainably manage natural resources and make long-term plans for forest land use. With a commitment of US$27million over the last 8 years (2016-2024), USAID has been providing support to African Parks to improve protected area management and wildlife conservation in the Garamba Complex and the Chinko Conservation Area within the Mbomou-Uele border region, straddling the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the Central African Republic (CAR), and to promote sustainable livelihoods among households dwelling inside and on the periphery of these protected areas. Apart from a myriad of conservation and sustainable livelihood impacts being achieved, this USAID partnership is contributing towards the establishment of a foothold for governance, security and stability for the surrounding communities, and the wider DRC-CAR-South Sudan transboundary landscape.”

Yes, the West continue their mission to Save Africa from Africans! [9]

Central Africa

Garamba National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has been managed by African Parks, in partnership with the national Congolese Institut pour la Conservation de la Nature (ICCN), since 2005.

Garamba National Park was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980. Once a region or location is declared a World Heritage Site it is protected from industrial activity by international law.

The park is around 5 200 km2 and borders Uganda, the Central African Republic and South Sudan.Garamba is in Orientale Province which is north east of Ituri Province, DRC. The region is home to the Kilo- Moto gold belt which has the largest deposits of gold in the world.

In 2023 Garamba was the recipient of 16 southern white rhino translocated from South Africa. Two Canadian mining corporations, Beyond  Gold Corporation and  Barrick Gold Corporation, are the key sponsor of the program, a very costly endeavour to fly 16 rhinos half way across the continent. They will be continuing to sponsor this program over the next few years.

This region of Central Africa has long been an extremely hostile environment for not just the decimated wildlife but for the people who live there. When the Anglo-Swiss MNC, Glencore, wanted to extricate south Sudan`s oil reserves from the anti-Western Omar al Bashir`s Sudan, war raged in the region as it is today in the current re-run of `Save Darfur`  which resulted in the partition of a once vast Sudanese Republic in 2010.

Joseph Kony of the LRA ( Lord’s Resistance Army) and his Invisible Army of child soldiers continued to contribute to low intensity warfare and terrorization of the local population as does the likes of CODECO, ADF, M23 or any number of the alphabet soup of acronym militias currently destabilizing Ituri  and North Kivu Provinces of DRC. In addition, the Central African Republic has seen its full share of western backed coups and counter coups amidst a so-called religious war of Christians versus Muslims.

Garamba`s last northern white rhino was shot in the early 2000s. In the 1970s there were 22 000 elephants. Only 1200 remain.Rhino horn is extremely profitable for poachers with the illegal trade going to Asian markets. Re-introduction of rhinos will require a vast increase in security for the Garamba park rangers.

Is it only a truly cynical mind that asks : is it the rhinos they want in the region or are the rhinos the excuse to arm this region to its teeth?

Barrick Gold and Banro Gold have formidable reputations among Congolese for defrauding the Congolese State, for running terrorism in eastern Congo and funding rebel militias. In fact the Western  mining multi-nationals have been the only beneficiaries of what has been described as `utopian level deregulation` maintained over the last 27 years in eastern Congo`s low-intensity war and genocide of some 12 million people.

USAID and the British Government have very recently committed US$ 100 million to the Stabilization and Economic Development program for northern DRC and Central African Republic border region. Please bear in mind that the Central African Republic has a population of 4 million,most of whom live in and around the capital city Bangui where there is no water sanitation system, that being an indicator of the level of poverty.

Destabilization is their raison d’être.

In a recently published book `The War for Africa` the author, Eeben Barlow, details a number of highly significant occurrences that he personally experienced which indicate a deliberate obstruction to the resolution of insecurity on the continent of Africa since the start of the Angolan civil war in the mid 1970s. His experience over the span of his career is the story of Africa`s fight for sovereignty.

In November 2014, African Parks Network contacted Eeben Barlow   to request training of their park rangers by  STTEP International, the private miliary company of which he was chairman. They were losing the battle against heavily armed poachers who profit in the lucrative trade of illegal ivory and rhino horn. African Parks wanted to employ the services of STTEP to assist them in developing an effective containment and protection strategy in order to make the ranger patrols more effective for the sake of the wildlife, park employees, local communities and the income from tourism that such a unique eco-system should be bringing in.

While the park remains a base for militia groups who are armed with assault rifles, machine guns and RPGs, this remains impossible.

At that time the park rangers despite their courage and dedication were poorly armed and poorly trained. One of the immediate effects of STTEP was to convince the General in the regional command of FARDC ( Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo}  to change regulations and permit FARDC soldiers to accompany the park rangers on specific patrols. DRC government rules do not permit the use of RPGS or machine guns by park rangers but with Eeben Barlow`s intervention, a valuable compromise has been reached whereby FARDC can accompany park patrols when the use of machine guns and RPGs are required, a step in the right direction if the annihilation of militias within park boundaries is the objective.

AFRICOM has a large presence in the region and it is the financer of the Ugandan Defence Forces helicopter fleet. AFRICOM were in 2014, head-quartered in Orientale Province. AFRICOM have the ability to monitor all telecommunications in the region.[10]

It became apparent to STTEP and the Park management that the local AFRICOM contingent were not only aware of STTEP`s proposed deployment in Garamba but that they were deeply opposed to it. They threatened park management and brought an end to what should have been a resolution to poaching and far more, an over-reaching resolution to the park being used as a base for militia groups. Since 2014, violence and terrorism has flourished in the DRC. The population and wildlife continue to die at the hands of militias/poachers. It has only been in the last 4 years that the security situation in the Park itself has improved thanks to resolute efforts of dedicated staff.

In his book ` The War for Africa` , Eeben Barlow details the monolithic resistance to bringing about peace and security across the continent. On his experiences in Garamba he writes:

“My brief meeting with AFRICOM members had not been pleasant at all. Their attitude and arrogance were unbecoming of visitors to Africa. I immediately suspected that they were concerned that we would end the problems in Garamba and negate their deployment and role in DRC.”                              Pg 403, The War for Africa

Destabilization is their raison d’être.
