REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO FORCES ARMEES, ETAT MAJOR GENERAL, TROISIEME ZONE DE DEFENSE QUARTIER GENERAL AVANCE COORDINNATION SCIFA COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE N° 05/25, Depuis plus d’une décennie, un flux des citoyens Tchadiens, centrafricains, camerounais et Soudanais éleveurs occupent les forets du Nord de la République Démocratique du Congo, dont certains sont détenteurs illégaux d’armes de guerre. Ces porteurs d’armes menacent la paix des congolais en vue d’obtenir des terres pour le pâturage de leurs bétails; comportement décrié et dénoncé tant par la population que par les autorités coutumières de la contrée. Tenant compte de ce cri d’alarme, les Autorités Congolaises ont pris des mesures pour recenser et cantonner ces transhumants à NAMBIA dans le territoire de NIANGARA, Province du HAUT-UELE. Ceci pour leur assurer sécurité et permettre à l’Etat Congolais de contrôler toute activité exercée sur son sol. Lors de sa mission d’inspection et de commandement au Secteur opérationnel Uele, le Commandant de la 3 Zone de Défense, le Lieutenant Général MASUNZU PACIFIQUE s’est entretenu en date du 12 juin 2025, avec les représentants des éleveurs MBORORO et les forces de défense et de sécurité de NAMBIA pour sensibiliser ces transhumants Mbororo en vue de leur cantonnement et au respect de la législation congolaise en matière de détention d’arme de guerre, d’acquisition des terres et de séjour en RDC. Il sied de noter que, les opérations encours ont commencé par la phase de sensibilisation et continueront avec la traque des contrevenants. En outre, certains Compatriotes avec intention de nuire, prennent plaisir à diffuser des mensonges dans les médias et les réseaux sociaux sur des prétendues violations des droits humains commises par les FARDC contre les Mbororos. Pareil comportement frise une dénonciation calomnieuse et des imputations dommageables pour lesquelles les FARDC se réservent le droit de saisir des instances habilitées contre leurs auteurs. Enfin, le Commandant de la 3 Zone de Défense lance un appel aux éleveurs Mbororo de se faire identifier, recenser et cantonner suivant la procédure mise en place par les Autorités Congolaises. Aussi, l’autorité demande aux porteurs illégaux d’armes de les déposer volontairement auprès des services habilités, car après ce délai de sensibilisation, les FARDC se verront obligées de désarmer les récalcitrants et éventuellement les déférer devant des instances judiciaires. Le Commandant de la Troisième de Défense exhorte également la population de la Province du Haut-Uele en générale et celle du territoire de Niangara en particulier de collaborer étroitement avec les forces de défense et de sécurité pour la réussite de cette opération. Have you ever received a poisoned gift? Do you remember the Fall of Troy with the story of the Trojan horse as told in the Odyssey of Homer? The Greeks built a huge wooden horse at the behest of Odysseus, and hid a select force of soldiers inside including Odysseus himself; they pretended to sail away leaving the wooden horse behind, and the Trojans thinking that it was a gift from the Greeks pulled the horse into their city as a victory trophy. That night, the Greek force came out of the horse, opened the city gates for the rest of the Greek army, and destroyed the entire city defeating the Trojans.
