Cancel the AUKUS Agreement Immediately. Australia Must Adopt an Independent Foreign Policy

For too long, Australia has been subservient to two foreign powers: the United Kingdom and the United States. The late former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser called them our “Dangerous Allies” in his 2014 book by that name. He said Australia has never been an independent nation, and our relationship with our dangerous allies the UK and USA has dragged us into wars that have damaged our nation.
In recent decades the United States has become the dominant ally, and our relationship has become even more subservient. Aside from supporting its forever wars, we have allowed the USA to establish a military presence in Australia that is unprecedented in peacetime: a base for US Marines in Darwin; a base for “nuclear-capable” B52 bombers in Darwin; to station B2 nuclear capable stealth bombers in Brisbane; and to station nuclear submarines in Perth. That’s on top of Pine Gap in the Northern Territory, which provides the technical guidance for US and allied bombing deployments, and therefore implicates Australia in every war and war crime America and its allies commit, including: drone strikes in countries including Pakistan and Yemen that killed hundreds of civilians; the war in Afghanistan and regime-change wars in Libya and Syria; the use of US missiles against Russia; and Israel’s scorched-earth bombing of Gaza.
The United States also dominates our financial system, as the biggest foreign investor in Australia, including as the majority owner of “Australia’s” Big Four banks, which have damaged our economy immensely through predatory lending, inflating house prices to unaffordable levels, and withdrawing branch services.
The Australians who argue in favour of having this kind of relationship with the United States claim we need it for protection, but protection from whom? The assumption that Asian countries somehow want to invade Australia is ludicrous. They are perfectly happy to trade with us for the resources they need, which is much cheaper than mounting a military invasion and occupation of a large country like Australia. America has bankrupted itself by invading and occupying countries in the 21st century; Asian countries aren’t interested in that. AUKUS is therefore a $368 billion extortion payment to the USA and UK for “protection” we don’t need and which those countries will never actually provide. Donald Trump’s decision to slap tariffs on Australia has just demonstrated that when America wants to act in its own perceived interests it doesn’t care about its “allies”, no matter how faithful we have been. This is the wake-up call Australia needed to get out of the toxic AUKUS relationship.

About five years ago, my friend Lawrence Freeman, gave me an enlightening book: Hamilton Versus Wall Street: The Core Principles of the American System of Economics published by Nancy Bradeen Spannaus in 2019.

Alexander Hamilton is regarded as a Founding Father of the United States. Beyond, being a chief of staff to General Washington, one of the most influential interpreters and promoters of the Constitution, and the founder of the nation’s financial system, he was the first Secretary of the Treasury, who established the nation’s financial system, including the national bank, federal assumption of state debts, and a framework for economic growth. As an aide to George Washington, he was an artillery officer and strategist. He was also chief author of the Federalist papers, which urged ratification of the U.S. Constitution. He is credited for shaping early American politics, but also made powerful enemies, most notably Aaron Burr, who fatally shot him in 1804. His legacy continues to influence the U.S. financial system and debates surrounding federal power.
RDC choisit la Tanzanie et le Burundi, pas le Rwanda: Tshisekedi isole Kagame avec de nouveaux ports

RDC-Tanzanie: des terrains disponibles pour la construction de ports secs. Le projet de développement de ports secs entre la République démocratique du Congo (RDC) et la Tanzanie franchit une nouvelle étape. Le 18 juin 2025, à Dar-es-Salaam, les ministres des Transports des deux pays, Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo pour la RDC et Makame Mbarawa pour la Tanzanie, ont procédé à la remise officielle des titres fonciers consacrés à la construction de ces infrastructures logistiques.
Cette cérémonie marque la mise en œuvre concrète de l’accord bilatéral signé en avril dernier à Lubumbashi, portant sur l’attribution de terrains destinés à l’aménagement de ports secs dans les deux pays.
Cette initiative s’inscrit dans le cadre du Programme de développement des infrastructures de transport, lancé en 2022 sous la coordination de l’Agence de facilitation du transport de transit du corridor central (CCTTFA).
Selon Jean-Pierre Bemba, la RDC a cédé à la Tanzanie deux sites représentant un total de 40 hectares : Kasenga (25 ha) et Kasumbalesa (15 ha). En contrepartie, la Tanzanie a accordé à la RDC, selon la même source, deux sites : Kwala, situé à une centaine de kilomètres de Dar-es-Salaam, (45 ha) et Katosho, près de Kigoma, (15 ha). Les services de communication du gouverneur du Haut Katanga parlent plutôt de trois sites concédés à la Tanzanie. Aux deux terrains cités par le ministre congolais des Transports, ils ajoutent le site de Kasanbondo (35 ha).
Selon Jean-Pierre Bemba, la construction de ces infrastructures générera des retombées significatives pour l’économie congolaise. Il cite notamment la traçabilité du fret à l’importation et à l’exportation, la lutte contre la fraude et la contrebande, ainsi que la libre circulation des biens et des personnes. Le ministre évoque également la création d’environ 3 000 emplois directs et indirects en Tanzanie, un investissement étranger de 300 millions de dollars et une hausse attendue des recettes douanières de la RDC. Selon le gouvernement du Haut Katanga, le gouvernement congolais a déjà signé un contrat d’aménagement de 300 millions de dollars de ses sites. Mais ni les entreprises adjudicataires ni le type de contrat n’ont été précisés.
Ces installations permettront à chaque pays d’établir des plateformes douanières et logistiques sur le territoire de l’autre, afin de fluidifier le transit des marchandises, réduire les délais de dédouanement et améliorer la connectivité régionale. La pression logistique entre la Tanzanie et la RDC ne cesse d’augmenter, en raison du volume élevé des flux de marchandises. L’aménagement des ports secs apparaît désormais comme une nécessité.
Selon le ministère tanzanien des Transports, le volume de fret à destination de la RDC via le port de Dar-es-Salaam a presque triplé en quatre ans, enregistrant une hausse de 180 %. Sur la même période, le port a vu son trafic global passer de 14 à 28 millions de tonnes.

This lecture was only 25 minutes followed by a robust Q and A period where many a sacred cow was killed along the way. How did the British Empire keep control of Canada when republican forces threatened to declare independence across the last 200 years?
Why did Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier say that “Canada is now governed by a junta sitting at London, known as ‘The Round Table’, with ramifications in Toronto, in Winnipeg, in Victoria, with Tories and Grits receiving their ideas from London and insidiously forcing them on their respective parties”? How did the Roundtable movement take over Canada, destroy Christianity in Quebec and how did it create a synthetic Canadian pseudo-nationalism designed to keep the Canadian people locked into an anti-American mind cage for over a century?
How were the founding fathers of Canada’s “New Nationalism” launched officially in 1959 (George Grant, Walter Lockhart Gordon, Pierre Trudeau, and Vincent Massey) all directly leading members of this Roundtable Cult?

Rwanda in Crisis Jeannette Kagame’s Plot Against Victoire Ingabire Exposed

Rwanda without Kagame: Succession War, Panic in Kigali, Chaos Looming?

Paul Kagame’s prolonged hospitalization in Germany has plunged Rwanda into uncertainty, sparking fears of a succession war, military factionalism, and potential chaos in Kigali. After nearly 30 years of authoritarian rule without a clear succession plan, his absence reveals deep divisions between the presidential family (led by Jeannette and Ian Kagame) and former Ugandan allies, like James Kabarebe. The lack of an heir, combined with internal purges and marginalization of key groups, threatens Rwanda’s stability. Regionally, the DRC, backed by the U.S., is pushing to end Rwanda’s exploitation of its resources, while Western powers discuss a “post-Kagame” future. Without swift intervention, Rwanda risks civil war and regional destabilization, with fears of a repeat of historical violence.
