Beni: ADF attack an FARDC position in Linzo Sisene, 8 dead
Ugandan ADF rebels attacked Saturday, June 13 in the evening a position of the Armed Forces of the DRC to Linzo sisene in the territory of Beni (North Kivu). Local sources and civil society indicate that civil people were killed including military civilian, a policeman and six civilians butchered with machetes. A dozen people were injured and a vehicle was burnt during the clashes.
The ADF attempted to take control of a civil position in this locality situated roughly 50 kilometers northeast of the city of Beni.
According to local sources, for several hours, the ADF tried to take control of the FARDC position or civil calendar is a major army unit.
