KILLING PEACE IN DRC: UNITED NATIONS VS HUTU REFUGEES.
15 août 2015
As story of UNHCR transition camp for HUTU noncombatants. In 2014 Hutu rebels initiated a peace process gesture by suspending its armed activities against Rwanda. UNHCR established camps including the one in Kisangani, in order to help transition from military to civilian, alongside with peace talks suggested by Tanzanian president Jekaya Kikwete.
Instead of providing the traditional assistance UNHCR decided to start a brutal process to force those who deposed arms and their relatives back to Rwanda. In doing so Mr Martin Kobler the head of UN in Congo begun a series of inhuman tactics against unarmed HUTU refugees in Congo, notably in Kisangani where a score of Hutu refugees were flown by UN planes, only to find themselves in horror, worse that the jungles they have been living in.
