HOPE-IKIZERE: HUTU REFUGEES IN CONGO UPDATE.
22 mars 2015
On February 25, 2015, Mercenaries from FARDC, and units from Rwandan Defense Forces, supported by unknown funds likely to come from western organizations, have started attacking Hutu Refugees in Congo with heavy weaponry including Napalm bombs, 120mm mortar, ( http://hope-ikizere.org/news-sosin-drc.html ) shelling indiscriminately Hutu Refugees Sanctuaries, burning their homes, and killing scores of Hutu refugees.
Although UN forces have refused to join the military operation against Hutu refugees, UN had also failed or refused to protect them, exposed and unprotected against well-armed criminals like General Mandevu, Mai Mai Cheka and Rwanda Special Forces, all working together in effort to destroy Hutu refugees’ livelihood in Congo.
How are Hutu refugees in Congo surviving this onslaught?
After long and extensive investigation, HOPE-IKIZERE Project can confirm that without any kind Air or land transportation, or any kind of hospital, FDLR (Forces Démocratiques pour la Libération du Rwanda) Is the only organization that is providing assistance to HUTU Refugees in Congo. FDLR had committed all its military Units to protect Hutu refugees, by providing evacuation routes, treat the wounded ones, recovery and reunification of lost children to their parents, as well as media interventions on behalf of those refugees.
HOPE-IKIZERE Project stands in solidarity with Rwandan Hutu Refugees in Congo, their friends and families across the world during this period of impunity and injustice. We support their God given right to live, their struggle to defend themselves, and we shall not rest until the last Rwandan Hutu’s soul has left Congo and returned back home in dignity.
